Christmas is a special time of year as we gather with family and friends to share great Kiwi traditions such as the Christmas ham!
We make our own hams right here in Wanaka so by choosing a Butcher’s Block Christmas ham, you will enjoy a ham made with passion and care the traditional way.
We source our free-farmed pork legs from Havoc Farm Park, a fantastic family-run South Island meat producer. Each pork leg is honey-cured, smoked over manuka woodchips then slow cooked to create a truly delicious ham on the bone. Some legs are boned before being turned into a boneless Champagne ham.
You can choose from whole or half hams (whole 7-10 kg; half 3.5-5 kg). Talk to us if you need a smaller or larger ham.

Free range turkey
We are delighted to work with another family-run South Island meat producer, Croziers Turkey. Their free range turkeys are a premium product guaranteed to make your Christmas feast an absolute treat. Please note we have only limited numbers this year so order early.
All turkeys come frozen, so please allow thawing time following your pick-up day.

Other Christmas meats
Help make those last few days before Christmas easier by pre-ordering the other meats and smallgoods you’ll need to feed family and friends over that holiday period.
Think about bacon and breakfast sausages for mornings, and steaks, sausages, chops and lamb backstraps for evening barbeques. What about a fantastic rolled pork loin roast? A leg of lamb? A whole beef eye fillet or scotch fillet?
Simply let us know in advance, and we’ll have it all packed and ready for you to collect when you pickup your ham and/or turkey.
