I was recently in Wanaka seeing our daughter and popped into your shop and bought a ham. I want to thank you for such a wonderful ham! Full of flavour and absolutely magnificent. Keep the tradition going. We will be back next year.

I’ve seen a few home-kill operations and would have to say Bruce’s is the best of them all. We were all impressed with the ease and professionalism of this operation. Sheep were handled with respect and skill, which is really nice to see. Planning sheets for type of cuts were helpful, and everything happened exactly at the times we were told. Our merino sausages are excellent, and the gluten free option is appreciated.
We definitely recommend the Butcher’s Block homekill system.

Wow, thanks guys. Bought the most amazing venison from you this week for a dinner party… it was beautiful meat. It was fresh in when I arrived Thursday to pick it up. Cooked Saturday night and it was so tender, not too gamey and just mouth watering. Paired it with a local Pinot Noir, Cherry and dark chocolate Jus, thyme potato cakes and baby veg!! Yum and a huge hit with our guests. Thank you!
